VINTAGE "MARX BRAKE KAR" 1950's PLASTIC and TIN TOY CAR

This is the coolest toy car you could own in the 1950's. It's even cool compared to todays standards. You set the rear lever for how many feet you want the vehicle to travel ,then place the car on the floor and push it forward. It will travel the alloted distance , then come to a brake squeeling halt. It actually sounds like tires screeching on pavement. The neatest thing about this toy is that it doesn't take batteries or anything else. It operates on its own magic from the 1950's. Not bad for a toy over 60 years old. I love it.
Trivia: Elephants are the only animals in the world that can't jump. (Psst, pink elephants do, I've seen them)

Did You Know?  Hundreds of people have built homes-some complete with double beds, furniture and kitchens- in the dark, damp storm drains that run under Las Vegas, Nevada. Despite the risks to their health from disease and venomous snakes and spiders, and a general risk of flooding, the "tunnel people" have set up elaborate camps with beds, bookshelves, wardrobes and even a makeshift shower created from an office water drinking dispenser.
