WESTERNS AND COWBOYS YIPPEE TY YAY

My favorite western as a child was Bonanza. Everybody loved Hoss. Every year Karen , or Santa, gets me another season of the shows on DVD. What a great time we live in. Always appreciate today because tomorrow it's gone. Pernell Roberts passed away in the past year. He was the last of the four actors in the show. Lorne Greene, Michael Landon and Dan Blocker as well as Pernell played their parts well in the series. My hat's off to them. This is the statue that Karen chose in Nashville many years ago. We could not decide which figure we liked more so we bought them both. The other is on the previous blog. Thanks for looking.
ABOUT COWARDICE: "My pappy always said `A coward dies a thousand deaths, a hero dies but one.` A thousand to one is pretty good odds." -Bret Maverick, of Maverick

Did You Know? To mark the ninth day of the ninth month of the year 2009, a budget supermarket chain in Los Angeles, California, offered nine couples cut-rate wedding ceremonies for 99 cents. After getting hitched, the couples were given $99.99 in cash and taken to a romantic location for their honeymoon.( How romantic.)
