REMEMBER THE TV GUIDE?

In the past what would we have done without them? Saturday morning cartoons are so much different these days . It's not a bad thing it is just that we have changed with the times.Saturday night was the shows we loved to see. Remember Bonanza, Gunsmoke, Have Gun Will Travel, Dick Clark, Sea Hunt and Leave It To Beaver.Sunday night was for Maverick, Dennis The Menace, Wyatt Earp, Alfred Hitchcock and of course the Ed Sullivan Show. It was a magical time and the shows were great to watch with the family even though the screen was very small and the tv's only had 13 channels, and even then only half of them worked.
Trivia: Some of the names rejected for Disney's seven dwarfs were Gaspy, Doleful, Awful, Gabby and Helpful. Thank goodness!

Did You Know? A fire crew from the town of Bournemouth in Dorset, England, was sent to extinguish a blaze at a bar called The Inferno, which was situated next to another bar called The Old Fire Station.
